Bugaboo respects your privacy. This is why we deal carefully with your personal data and process it exclusively in accordance with this privacy statement and national laws and regulations that apply to the processing and security of personal data. This privacy statement applies to the processing by Bugaboo of personal data relating to users of the online Bugaboo Business portal, which may be business owners or representatives of Bugaboo business customers.

The controller responsible for data processing in the context of the Bugaboo Business portal is the relevant local Bugaboo entity offering the products on the portal, Bugaboo Spain S.L.U. ("Local Entity"). The Local Entity acts as co-controller with Bugaboo International B.V. By "Bugaboo"/"We" in this privacy statement we refer to both the Local Entity as well as Bugaboo International B.V. However, the Local Entity shall be the main contact point for any data subject requests or queries concerning the processing of personal data in connection with the portal, and may direct those to Bugaboo International B.V. as appropriate.

Which categories of personal data do we process?

We are responsible for all personal data that you provide to us, including your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and date of birth, and for personal data that we obtain or registration via our webshop.

If you do not provide us with personal data which we require at a minimum in order to meet your request or to process your order (as relevant), we may not be able to comply with your request and/or perform our obligations under the contract with you or your company.

For which purposes do we use your personal data?

We use your personal data in order to comply with our obligations towards you and to offer the service that you expect of us. This includes setting up and managing your online account, processing your orders and payments, sending delivery status e-mails, contact relating to the delivery of your orders (legal basis: performance of contract), sending messages about any safety risk relating to our products, and managing your account if you have created one on our website (legal basis: performance of contract/legitimate interest). We also analyze traffic on and use of our website, which may include the use of cookies (legal basis: legitimate interest). Furthermore we maintain the security of our website through technical and organizational measures, which may entail the processing of personal data (legal basis: legitimate interest). We may also use your contact details to send you information on offers and promotions (legal basis: legitimate interest or consent as applicable). To the extent that you have consented, you may withdraw this consent at any time. We do not save your data for longer than is necessary for the above purposes or than is required by law. Generally, we are legally required to retain order, purchase and sales information for a minimum period of 7 years following the fiscal year in which the information was generated.

Our legitimate interests consist of: analysis of (the use of) the portal, IT maintenance and security, communications, marketing, legal affairs, internal accounting.

Who has access to the data?

We send your data to third parties only if this is necessary in order to comply with our obligations towards you, for a performance of a contract to which you or your company is a party or for our legitimate interests or those of a third party. Categories of recipients that have access include: our internal departments (Finance, Sales, Marketing, Legal, IT), hosting providers, fulfillment providers, communications agencies, courier and shipping service providers. If you fail to pay an amount that is owing to Bugaboo, we may also pass on your personal data to organizations such as credit rating or collection agencies for the purpose of debt collections, credit checks and ID checks.

To the extent that recipients qualify as Bugaboo's data processors, we will make sure that they are bound by the required data processing provisions.

How do we protect your data?

We have adopted both technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, theft and unauthorized access. We continually improve our security measures in case of technological advances and developments. We also recommend that you properly and correctly secure your own electronic data carriers.

We are not responsible for processing the personal data that you provide through these websites and this privacy statement does not apply to that data. For this purpose, consult the privacy statement of the website that you are visiting, if available.

Inspection, correction and right of objection

To the extent permitted by law, you are entitled to contact us freely and at reasonable intervals to examine your personal data that we process and to request us to supplement or correct this data if it is incomplete or inaccurate, or to request us to protect or delete this data or limit the processing thereof. We will report to you within one month of receipt of your request. You may also notify us if you no longer wish to be approached with information about our products and services and you have a right to object to the processing of your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests.
